Hi, Hoi, สวัสดี!
My name is Thanyawan Eamsonthi - born and raised in Thailand. I am a service designer with a background of 3 years working experience in communication and social design back in my native country.
Since then, I have been curious how to hack the system by designing a better service. After learning the communication I created would only drive awareness, I decided to pursue my MA Service Design at the Royal College of Art in London, UK. ( With a full support from Abraaj - RCA Innovation Scholarship.) I aspired to be equipped with skills to create a greater systemic impact.
After graduating in 2018, I moved to join Philips Experience Design team in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Apart from looking into the consumer end to end experience in personal health domain, I also facilitate and advocate design process to come up with new solutions that tackle consumer's need.
Everyday at Philips, I enjoy doing service prototypes across touch points to test, learn and iterate from real consumer feedback with business manager, UX, communication designer, software engineer, data analyst and more multi-disciplinary team to come.
I am ready to take risks for the thing I believe in. I think moving to live and work in a new place is the best ethnographic research you could ever do to understand a country and its people. I am based in Amsterdam, Netherlands at the moment, but happy to relocate anywhere in the world where there’re exciting challenges for me to solve.
